Participants from the following countries do not require a visa to enter Mongolia: South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Kazakhstan, Hong Kong, UK, Germany, France, New Zealand and Vietnam.

Participants from the following countries must apply for a visa in advance:
People’s Republic of China (unless holders of diplomatic and official passports)
Nepal, Sri Lanka (including holders of diplomatic and official passports)
Visa Assistance will be provided by IPAF Organizing Committee
For visa-required participants, the Secretariat and MAMCO will:
Issue an official invitation letter
Coordinate with Mongolia’s Immigration and Foreign Affairs offices

SHUTTLE SERVICE BETWEEN HOTELS & VENUES
To ensure smooth transportation for all participants, shuttle buses will operate between official IPAF hotels and the event venue.
ENTRY GUIDELINE
Power banks and e-cigarettes are not allowed across the Mongolian border.
If you are bringing sedative or prescription medication, please ensure it is accompanied by a doctor’s note.
CLIMATE & WEATHER – AUGUST IN ULAANBAATAR
August is one of Mongolia’s most pleasant months – dry, sunny, and moderate.
However, Ulaanbaatar’s high elevation (1,350m above sea level) brings significant temperature swings between day and night.

PRECAUTIONS
Ulaanbaatar is a generally safe city, but visitors should observe common-sense precautions:
– Use ride-hailing apps (UBCab) instead of unregistered taxis, (UBCab offer English-language options)
– Avoid walking alone late at night.
– Be aware of pickpockets in crowded markets or bus stops.
– Carry a copy of your passport and hotel card when going out
– Emergency services are responsive.

The conference will be conducted in both Mongolian, English and Russian.
Simultaneous Interpretation will be provided for the IPAF Summit and International Conference.

Interpretation equipment will be available at your seat. At the end of the meeting,
please leave the Simultaneous Interpreting equipment on your seat and do not take it away from the meeting place.
